Spring Catarrh

This is an uncommon conjunctival disease which attacks both the eyes and lasts for many seasons in weak children (mostly male). A bluish white film is observed around cornea with a mild inflammation of the conjunctiva. There is a feverish sensation, lacrymation. Itching and photophobia.

Appetite is poor. Worms are observed in the stool.

Prevention and Precautions
Improve your general health with a balanced diet. Avoid eye strain. Keep away from dust and smoke. Take cold compress with advised medical eye treatment. Clean eyes with an eye lotion. Take anti-worm treatment if required. Use coloured glasses. Strolling on green grass or along a seashore is very helpful.
